My name is Breezy. I'm 12 years old and I ride hunters and jumpers. I have been riding since I was three years old. I like it very much.
In 2007 I went to the National Pony Finals In Lexington, Kentucky on my pony hunter named Mighty Mouse.
In 2008 I rode a pony jumper who’s name is Wonder Woman. She and I qualified for the USEF Zone 7 team, which consists of the top 4 riders of Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. Our four-member team won the gold metal for the National team championship. I was also Zone 7 Pony Jumper Champion for 2008.
Now I am riding two Green jumpers that we started working with in January of 2009. One is a 17.2 hand grey thoroughbred that belongs to Anne Scroggs named Space Ghost and the other is my 16 hand bay thoroughbred named Iron Man.
I also do catch-rides in the hunter ring for other people for the experience. I love the challenge and I love to ride very much.
When I grow up I hope to get a college scholarship because it is a NCAA sport. My ultimate dream is to be in the Olympics!
